Biography......

I was born in Rochester, County of Kent, England. The county of Kent lies to the South-East of London and Rochester is on the route of the old Roman Road to Dover.

Following my education at Kings School, Rochester, I worked in London and through several jobs, traveled extensively throughout the United Kingdom.

From a very early age, my parents took me around England, Wales and Scotland as well as further a field through the European countries of Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, Holland and Spain. I return to the UK and Europe several times a year to see my family and these visits also keep me up-to-date with an ever-changing country.

Having got the wander bug, I too traveled for pleasure and over the course of many years, I drove throughout the UK and Europe. As well as driving, my passion to explore extends to train travel. There is nothing to compare with the exhilaration of enjoying a traditional English breakfast as you speed along at 125 mph! With the new high-speed line from just outside of London, Paris can be reached in two hours and forty minutes through the Channel Tunnel.

Twenty-one years ago, I came to the USA. While I was originally based in New York, my job required extensive travel, which afforded me the opportunity explore the USA, from Seattle, Washington to Key West, Florida and from Bar Harbor, Maine to San Diego, California.

The benefits of being able to turn to a person who has years of experience learnt through a lifetime of travel are immeasurable, especially when journeying to a foreign destination.

When you are not joining an organized tour and prefer to travel independently, I can help you to turn your idea for a trip to the United Kingdom and turn it into a vacation.

The pictures to the left show just some of the diverseness of England, Wales and Scotland. To see more pictures, please visit my friends at The Heritage Trail.
